Charbonnel black ink (55981)
Characteristics - Universal supple black, Viscosity - Very viscous (easier to wipe than 55985)
Composition - Ivory Black/Carbon Black

Excellent for hand wiping because the ink stays full and dense. Very suitable for drypoint because the quality of the ink is consistently rich and perfect for a wide range of marks from drypoint lines to fine aquatints. Charbonnel inks are specially designed for intaglio printing and do not contain additives.
