Size 22x30 - Saunders Waterford Series is the finest watercolour paper and carries the Royal Watercolour Society's seal of approval.
The Waterford Series is a 100% rag mould-made paper, acid free and is buffered against atmospheric contamination giving archival permanence. The natural white sheet contains no optical brighteners, thus having excellent colour stability. It has found great favour with water colour artists for its surface strength.
Hot Pressed Surfaces: (HP) or Fine is the smoothest surface and is particularly suited to pen and ink work and fine delicate brushwork and illustration. The smooth surface is achieved in the manufacture by application of pressure between heated steel rollers.

"Waterford HP" Perfect for Calligraphy & Illumination
As a Calligrapher, I find Waterford 90lb HP ideal for many client pieces. Because of its smooth writing surface, HP allows for very fine hairlines when using a pointed pen. It is also perfect for broad-nib and application of both Gouache and watercolour when illuminating these pieces.
