Why didn't I get one sooner!
I was sharpening my pastel pencils with a standard pencil pairer. I noticed that it was taking lots off the pencil and even cracking them in the process. So I got this sharpener hoping it would help. Yes it did! Lovely sharp pastel pencils and also doesn't take as much of the pencil off with each turn.
