The Gillott 170 nib is smaller than the Gillott 404 and 303 nibs. It is very flexible and smooth, capable of producing thick swells. Used for small to medium x-heights.
These nibs have a protective lacquer to prevent tarnishing. Briefly immerse the full pen point in boiling water before first use.
