The long, one-piece needle is set in a solid, wooden holder. When in use, the wooden holder can be sharpened just like a pencil, so that the entire length of the needle can be used up.
Etching sword is sharp on both sides in Beech wood handle. Intended only for soft materials such as for pressboard panels.
