The Faber-Castell Perfection Eraser Pencil is an eraser core in a wood-cased pencil barrel. It can be sharpened with a normal sharpener and is ideal for pin-point erasing. White tip is suitable for ink. Brush at opposite end for convenient dispatch of eraser dust.

Very Confusing
It's not a pastel pencil. It's an eraser. I don't know how it works or why it works but the results are stunning. Sharpen it and you have a very fine-point eraser that doesn't flop about! Perfect for highlights of all sorts. Can get a soft or a hard edge on the highlight depending on how you use it, the plastic bristles on the other end are handy for getting rid of eraser dust without smudging. Highly recommended
