This tool is not quite a brush or a palette knife. It is crafted of flexible silicone to allow artists a new form of expression. It is designed for use with heavy body paints, oils, acrylics, and water-mixable oils. Can also be used with clay, plaster or even food crafting. It is made of FDA approved silicone. This package contains one 4-3/4x3 inch wedge tool.

Catalyst Wedge No.2
This is the third catalyst wedge I have purchased. The silicone material is durable, easy to clean and comfortable in the hand. I use this with acrylic and oil paint for texturing surfaces. Can be used also with gesso to create a textured ground to paint on. A joy to use, ergonomically it fits snugly in the hand. An excellent tool for the painters tool box. Recommended for people who also have limited mobility in their hands. Flat edge wedges can also be used instead of palette knives for mixing paint. @AbbeyArtStudios 2021
