It is made from the softest pure squirrel hair set in a goose quill ferrule and hand tied with copper wire fastening. The hair is so absorbent that a very large area can be covered at one time.
Excellent point when wet!
Each No. 3 brush has a ferrule 8mm approx.

Just wow. I am amazed by the versatility, fine accuracy and delicacy of strokes of this brush. I am new to watercolour. My base medium is usually oils but of all the brushes (and I have many), this is the most versatile and pure. The effects you can make can be both ethereal and pinpoint accurate. I would be most interested in finding out if Cork Art Supplies have more sizes. Thank you. Jackie Daly.
